Orange County
John Lee, M.D.
Dr. John Lee is a board certified radiologist. He received his medical degree at the University of California in Irvine College of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center in Diagnostic Radiology and Musculoskeletal MR Radiology.
Mark Allgood, M.D.
Dr. Mark Allgood received his medical degree from the University of Southern California where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology, serving as chief resident in his final year. He subsequently completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology and holds current ABR certificates of added qualification in both interventional radiology and neuroradiology.
Phong Vuong, M.D.
Dr. Phong Vuong is a board certified Radiologist. He received his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at McGill University and his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at USC Medical Center.
Lina Le, M.D.
Dr. Lina Le received her medical degree at the University of California in San Diego. She completed her residency in Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center. She also did fellowship at USC School of Medicine Department of Radiology Department in body imaging.
Alyssa Watanabe, M.D.
Dr. Alyssa Watanabe received her medical degree at the University of California in San Francisco. She completed her fellowship at University of Washington and at the University of Southern California in neuroradiology.
Corey Chakarun, M.D.
Corey Chakarun, MD, a board-certified radiologist, completed radiology residency and fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at University of Southern California (USC). At USC, he was appointed Chief Resident and was named Fellow of the Year. Dr. Chakarun has published scientific papers, abstracts, and educational exhibits as leading author, and presented the findings before international audiences at American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). His special interests include radiofrequency thermocoagulation of bone tumors, imaging-guided joint injections, imaging-guided biopsies, and imaging of musculoskeletal disorders and sports-related injuries.
Sebastian Sugay, M.D.
Dr. Sebastian Sugay is an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, who obtained his medical doctorate at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his residency as Chief Resident of Radiology at the University of Southern California. His fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology was also completed at USC.
Paul Kim, M.D.
Dr. Paul E. Kim received a BS in biomedical sciences from University of Michigan and a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He did his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at USC Medical Center.
Susan Wang, M.D.
Dr. Susan Wang received her medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Southern California and completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Southern California.
Brandon Murti, M.D.
Dr. Brandon Murti received his medical degree at the New York Medical College. He completed his residency at the University of Southern California and subsequently completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Southern California.
Los Angeles
JIN Hwan Seung, M.D.
Dr. Jin Seung received his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at University of California, and completed his fellowship in MRI at USC. Dr. Chin Hwan Seung is medical director at Los Angeles location.
Alyssa Watanabe, M.D.
Dr. Alyssa Watanabe received her medical degree at the University of California in San Francisco. She completed her fellowship at University of Washington and at the University of Southern California in neuroradiology.
Brenda Safranko, M.D.
Dr. Brenda Safranko received her medical degree at the University of California in Davis. She completed her fellowship in Body and MSK at the University of California in Irvine.
Michael Gibson, M.D.
Dr. Michael Gibson received his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Following his residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, he completed his fellowship in Body and Musculoskeletal Imaging at the National Capital Consortium.

Kyungja (Cindy) Shin
CEO, RBMA Member
Cindy was an English teacher in Korea before she moved to California in 1998. She completed her MRI technology training at American College of Medical Technology in 2000. Recognizing that the Korean community in Los Angeles needed a better option for MRI services, Cindy founded Shin Imaging in 2003, with a mission to focus on providing the highest quality imaging at the most affordable price, accessible to everyone.
Charlie Maloney
President, CFO, RBMA Member
Charlie Maloney received a B.S. & M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He had a 33-year career at The Boeing Company where was a Program Manager for several large government satellite programs before joining Shin Imaging in 2014.
